Naturally all of us have enormous excuses in our subconscious minds it's just for whitewash ourselves if we don't want to achieve.  We should accept this concept sometimes we can't control our thoughts or actions.  But we make a huge mistake if we think we can only achieve by time management because the time looks like a river does not wait us to do benefit stuff or the opposite.  In my opinion and also l follow it sometimes success happens when we have all temptations and bad circumstances to give up or procrastinate but we avoid this sound and keep looking forward not to our emotions.  We should know the difference between the most important and important. And to Learn how to prioritize stuff.  If you want more about this read an amazing book( Eat that frog)  it's really useful and you will know and change your prespective about Success.
