I think every word has a special usage even though some words have  similar meanings.

Prudence(peudent) and cautious

What is the difference?

Cautious = careful

Prudent =wise

Ex: Our bad experiences have made us more cautious.

 Ex: That was a prudent decision

Doesn't the word cautious have more powerful than careful as I remember from level 1 course ?

Not powerful
Caution means you are careful because of previous bad situation or because you are scared of someone

Careful , it is a state, a fact
If Someone is careful, one of their features is to be Caution in every single time
That what I remebered from that episode
