What to do to encourage your child to study without treating it as a tragedy, the best thing you can do as a mother to motivate your little boy to study is to sit next to him when he studies, help him whenever he needs you and don't get angry if he asks for clarification more than once, be patient and gentle with his doubts and inquiries. And remember not to use your mobile phone or laptop. Alternatively, you can finish your office work or read a book sitting next to it.

The pleasure of studying
Make school time a good time, parents often make a mistake by making studying a kind of punishment, and on the contrary, you should make school time fun and tell your son to enjoy it.
Teach your children the importance of learning, not just to study. Encourage them to learn new things every day, even if they are small things, and show your child the joy of learning, and take him to public places that will stimulate their minds such as museums, libraries, zoos and plays
Link less "fun" topics to topics your children love, such as linking a topic they don't understand to the topic they excel at. If your son loves history but hates mathematics, try to involve him in the history of numbers, tell him stories about famous mathematicians to add a little romance to the subject.
Find interactive ways to teach your child at home, show them documentaries, give them educational games, or give them books. Ask them questions, and teach them to question the world around them.
Think about enrolling your child in advanced programs for materials they find interesting. If your daughter hates doing her job in English, think about enrolling her in one of your favorite STEM science camps or STEM programs, if your son doesn't want to study for his tests, encourage his musical development , which he loves, by enrolling him in an orchestra, and you can teach your child discipline at work by motivating him to learn.
Talk to your child every day about what he's done in every subject in the class, and his question about it will keep him on high alert in class, get to know his favorite subject, favorite class and favorite teacher as well.
Recognize all the achievements, and do your child's smallest achievements, it not only makes him happy, but keeps him excited to do well.
Your son's reading habit is often seen as a study by children who enjoy reading, and may be done by example and creating a favorable environment at home.
Watch out for the study environment.
Make sure there are no annoying things in the study area such as noise and TV and playing one of the little brothers nearby, the child has a very low concentration period and can easily distract himself and lose interest to complete studying
Try to understand the environment in which your children learn better, do they learn better with food next to them, or no food? Do they like peace, quiet or music? Do they like to sit on a desk, on the couch or on the floor?
It's also important to understand what kind of learning your son belongs to (audio, visually or sensory) so if your child remembers things easily by seeing things, do it with his own eyes and repeat it. Some children remember more if they write things (touch/hands-on), so reformulating a math problem or writing certain dates will help them, and you may need your child to hear your voice louder to help him retain information if his or her focus is auditory.
One time to study and another to rest.
Set a study schedule and stick to it, with the importance of alerting children that study not only requires homework, but should spend some time reviewing the concepts and lessons taught in the classroom every day.
A balance must be struck between serious study and available play time. Studying for more than 20 minutes at a time can lead young children to lose focus, so 20 minutes of rest per 20 minutes of study may help your children save what they read
Also don't let your kids sit on the computer all day, make sure their eyes are comfortable, and they get a lot of time outside.
False beliefs
Mothers misjudge that their children have not studied enough because they have not sat for a long time, as reading/writing speeds and understanding vary greatly among children, and parents have to understand these differences
Forcing children to study, over time, makes them avoid school at all costs. But if you ask your child to study comfortably, the result may be different, for example, say to him, "How about you go for tickets now?" instead of "Go and study now."
Refrain from giving speeches to your child about what is right and what is wrong, a lot of verbal talk eventually leads to children who are not interested, and clear and gentle instructions should be given instead of reprimands or threats
Children can feel useless studying, and here you should make sure they understand where studying can take them so hard. Talk to them about how to improve their future, as studying will increase the number of colleges they can attend, enabling them to do anything they might want in the future.
It's important to listen and respect your child's opinions even if you feel that sometimes it's not true, allowing your child to express his or her opinion on different topics helps him build his or her confidence, and telling your child to give you appropriate arguments from his or her point of view.
Your son gets low grades not the end of the world, refrain from reprimanding or comparing him to his friends or peers, and you should encourage your child and show your sympathy to him and tell him that it is okay to make mistakes provided you learn from them and not repeat them
Good luck, and I'll see you at the top.
