Hello again, it's out of the blue, isn't it? Didn't I ?say I would delay for 2 weeks

Well,I'm not a psychic

I found out that I have time to spare

Let's start

You probably have noticed me saying a weird phrase in the first sentence, what does mean?

Out of the blue (slang)

If something happens out of the blue, it happens unexpectedly and surprisingly

A: You're fired, John

B:Hey, that's so out of the blue, I thought I was supposed to get promoted

Once in a blue moon

If something happens once in a blue moon, it happens really rarely

Video example

Blue blood

If someone has blue blood, they're born in a wealthy or royal family

A:What do you mean you can't afford it, it's cheap

B:Cheap? $20000 is cheap? Oh, I get it, you have blue blood, you can't understand people's lifestyles

Note that this idiom is often used in a negative way like the past example

I think most of you are used to saying I'm sad, but instead you can say

I have the blues

If you have the blues, that means you're under the weather or sad

I have the blues currently because we have term exams and we have to keep studying

Blue collar

If someone is blue collar, they're office workers and do metal work

Hey, blue collars, we're gonna make some upgrades to the company's service

That's it for today, folks, I hope you enjoyed today's blue episode

Peace out
